The Bloomfield Bluegrass Band was formed in Sonoma County in 2017 by bandleader Patrick Campbell; more specifically, in the tiny historic town of Bloomfield, CA. Just miles from Rocker’s Roadhouse, Bloomfield may be the finest bluegrass town nobody has heard of. In the late 1880s, Bloomfield was the pride of far southwest Sonoma County. But eventually, the railroad passed it by, the river silted in, and the shops closed. However, every now and then, you can hear the sounds of bluegrass. Yep, the Bloomfield Bluegrass Band is back in the saddle, cranking out tunes in the little old cabin up on the hill.
